Anisomastia correction: an aesthetic problem that has a solution
Most women desire youthful, well-shaped breasts. However, the diversity of breasts that may be congenital, or that result from weight fluctuations, hormonal changes, traumatic injuries, the aging process, are some of the causes that can result in congenital anisomastia problems.
Congenital anisomastia problems include the following:
- Anisomastia, i.e. a significant asymmetry of the two breasts in terms of their size and shape.
- Athelia, i.e. absence of the nipple and areola complex.
- Amastia, i.e. absence of the breast and nipple.
- Gigantomastia, i.e. oversized breasts.
- Ectopic (supernumerary) breast, i.e. the appearance of an extra atrophic breast, close to normal breasts.
- Polycythemia, i.e. the existence of one or more nipples, just below normal.
- Tubular breast, i.e. asymmetry of the breasts/large distance between the two breasts/drooping breasts and large nipples.
- Hypoplasia, i.e. very small breasts or with large asymmetry between them.
The above problems aggravate the appearance as well as the psychological state of a woman.
Thanks to modern, improved plastic surgery techniques we apply and the use of advanced implant materials, we can now tackle these problems, achieving natural and harmonious result.
