Discover the fountain of youth found in our bodies

Discover the fountain of youth found in our bodies

In recent years, a number of studies have brought to light the importance of communication between the body's organs as a key regulator of aging.

The researchers identified a specific group of neurons in the brain's hypothalamus that, when active, through the production of a protein called Ppp1r17, send signals to the body's fat tissue to release energy.

As part of this response, neurons trigger a chain of events that the body uses as fuel to increase physical activity and brain functions.

But as old age wears them down, the organs stop receiving the molecular and electrical signals they need to function properly. The lesser activation of the neural network, gradually pushes it into withdrawal and from a dense network of interconnected nerve fibers, turns into a sparse network. Our body is thus led to accumulate fat, increase body weight and have less energy to feed the brain and other tissues.

But when the researchers were able to genetically maintain the production of Ppp1r17 at high levels, they saw increased physical activity and a 7% longer survival, an increase that in a person with a life expectancy of 75 years would translate into five extra years of life . At the same time, they observed anti-aging effects.

Potential anti-aging treatments

Continuing to investigate how this channel of communication can be kept open, researchers have found that tiny extracellular vesicles found in our blood, Exosomes, are responsible for carrying biological information, proteins and nucleic acids into cells. In this way, they promote cell proliferation, enhancing tissue repair and regeneration, ensuring at the same time impressive anti-aging results.

The process of receiving autologous exosomes is carried out in the private clinic with a simple blood draw. The blood is then centrifuged and filtered using special protocols, isolating the exosomes from the whole blood plasma. The final autologous serum is injected intradermally, acting regeneratively, promoting the production of collagen and elastin for tissue reconstruction. Ideal for revitalizing and firming the face, neck, décolleté, hands and knees. In addition, the skin becomes brighter, while at the same time wrinkles are reduced.
