Hair Loss

Hair loss is a very annoying aesthetic problem affecting men. Heredity, environmental conditions and other stressful aspects of modern life are some of the most common factors that lead to hair loss.

Nowadays, a large percentage of the male population is affected with the problem of male pattern baldness, which leads to low self-esteem.

Depending on the extent and severity of the problem, there are several techniques and options available to treat or cure hair loss, offering either temporary or more permanent results.

Technique

In the initial phase of hair loss there are treatments that are beneficial as they help strengthen the hair and prevent or slow down hair loss without being able to promise a permanent result, though.

Advanced medical knowledge, however, helps treat hair loss permanently, effectively and safely through modern hair transplantion techniques.

Useful Information

  • Hair tends to grow autonomously. As such, under normal conditions, 80-90% of the hairs are in the regenerative phase, 5% in the native and 10-15% in the telogen phase.
  • Normally, we lose from 50 to 100 strands of hair per day.
  • The most common types of hair loss include telogen effluvium and androgenetic alopecia.
