Hair loss is a natural process of the body’s renewal cycle. On average, we lose from 50 to 100 strands of hair per day. In some cases, however, a doctor should investigate and distinguish hair loss that represents an underlying disease.
Hair loss, also known as alopecia, can be the result of heredity, hormonal changes, medical conditions or medication.
50% of men develop some degree of baldness by the age of 50. Baldness tends to begin between the ages of 20 and 30, with gradual thinning of the hair on top of the head and around the temples.
Technique
Hair mesotherapy allows for the immediate introduction of active ingredients and vitamins into the middle layer of the skin, which contribute to the strengthening of hair growth: growth factors, amino acids, antioxidants, etc. At the same time, the natural healing process is activated due to numerous microneedlings.
PDT (Photodynamic Therapy) is an effective skin rejuvenating treatment. PDT uses LED lamps, which activate photosensitive components that are applied to the skin. The effect of light (red, yellow and blue) at the lower layers of the skin, stimulate fibroblasts, resulting in collagen and elastin production. Red light slightly increases the blood flow, strengthens the immune system and accelerates healing. Yellow light encourages toxin elimination and it helps brighten the skin whilst increasing its elasticity and freshness.
Before treatment, we recommend the use of a local anesthetic cream.
Results
Treatment is recommended in the early signs and symptoms of hair loss. The result is obvious from the very first sessions, as it offers a prolonged duration of the hair in the regenerative phase, significantly prevents hair loss and makes it much easier to absorb and diffuse materials that have a therapeutic effect on the skin and hair.
Useful Information
- Immediately after treatment, a cold patch or a mask can be applied to reduce and relieve symptoms of mild burning sensation.
- The number of treatments needed and the time interval between sessions depends on the extent of the problem.
