Endermologie is a method of mechanical treatment of cellulite, through a specialized device (LPG Endermologie), which consists of special hand pieces of two motorized rollers. These, controlled by a computer, cause simultaneous compression and suction in various areas of the body through a special massage.
The treatment is applied to areas with cellulite and localized fat. This special device creates controlled pressure at the specific areas, creating symmetrical skin folds on the surface area with the problem. The skin responds to this continuous motion, mobilizing the underlying, subcutaneous tissue. Thus, the reactive connective tissue is broken down and the microcirculation in the treated areas is enhanced, thus achieving percutaneous oxygenation and reduction of fluid retention.
This mechanism is related to the mobilization of α-adrenergic receptors, which stimulate lipolysis. Fat cells have two types of receptors that are involved in their survival, the "α-cells" and the "β-cells". "Alpha" cells, when stimulated, protect fat. But "beta" cells, when properly stimulated, are self-destructive. In other words, they release fat. Thanks to their action, the fat stored in the form of triglycerides is converted to fatty acids, which are much thinner than triglycerides, so they pass through the membrane and are released into the bloodstream. Then, they are naturally eliminated from the body through its natural metabolism.
At the same time, tissues are transformed, the skin and the hypodermis acquire elasticity, while the stimulation of a special mechanism contributes to the production of collagen and elastin.
Usually 2-3 sessions per week and a total of about 20-25 sessions are recommended. If you are on a diet at the same time, then one to two sessions per week are recommended. The sessions are completely painless and without any side effects.
Endermologie is used to break down cellulite, redistribute adipose tissue and improve the appearance of the skin, offering a firmer body.
The first results appear after 10-12 sessions and there is continuous improvement in each session. Once the treatment protocol is completed, usually one session per month is required (depending on the patient’s age, lifestyle and hormonal changes) in order to maintain the results.
