Cheek Fillers
High cheekbones are a sign of a healthy and youthful look. Cheeks lose volume over time. Cheek fillers are highly recommended by plastic surgeons to women, especially those over 40, when the apples of their cheeks and cheekbones are naturally intense and need more defining.
The stimulation of the cheekbones is achieved with hyaluronic acid injections, as it is a soft material with malleable properties that can be contoured. As such, it also corrects contour irregularities and provides fantastic aesthetic results. The material used to enhance the area above and around the cheekbones is similar to the dermal fillers we use to fill wrinkles, but is thicker.
Due to its properties and the fact that it contains a more "powerful" molecule of the same material, it offers more volume and longer-lasting results.
Results
The results of the lost volume correction are immediately visible and last from 18 to 24 months.
Fuller cheekbones also improve the middle third of the face, offering a natural facelift and, as a result, a youthful face (baby face).
Useful Information
- Local anesthesia before the treatment is recommended.
- It is advisable to avoid eating hard foods for the next 24 hours.
- The area under treatment should either be exposed to high temperatures (e.g. solarium or sun exposure) or to extreme cold for a week.
