Wrinkle Reduction System

Wrinkle Reduction System treatment is based on the use of advanced Pellevé radiofrequency technology, the most advanced non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment.

It is ideal for lessening mild to moderate wrinkles, such as wrinkles around the mouth and eyes (the so-called “crow’s feet"), while it achieves striking results on facial appearance and refinement of contour, as well as on neck and décolleté area skin laxity.

It is recommended for women over 30 years old, as around that age collagen production gradually decreases, as well as for older people with deep wrinkles, dull skin and facial laxity.

The immediate results and the lack of complications make Pellevé an ideal treatment for those who wish to restore glow, softness and achieve a younger appearance even a few days before a major event, such as before their wedding. In this case, treatment can be performed one month in advance for a more complete result; however, even two days before that special event, the change is evident immediately after the treatment.

Process

Pellevé heats the deep layers of the skin (the dermis) with a special handpiece, without damaging the skin. Increased heat in the dermis enhances endogenous collagen formation, resulting in skin elasticity and firmness.

During treatment, patients feel a deep warming sensation each time the handpiece touches the area under treatment. The treatment gel we apply to the area contributes to the circular motion of the handpiece as well as to keeping the face hydrated, making it completely pain-free.

Duration

The length of each treatment session depends on the numbers of areas under treatment. For example, for the treatment of forehead creases, it might take only 15 minutes, while it may take up to 45 minutes if the entire face and neck are to be treated.

According to the protocol, it is usually recommended to have three treatments within a period of one or two months and one or two follow-up annual treatments to maintain the result.

For younger ages, a full-facial treatment is enough to achieve total rejuvenation, making the skin look firmer and more radiant.

Results

The results are visible from the very first treatment, while there is continuous improvement in the appearance of the skin, due to ongoing collagen production for up to 6 months following a single treatment.

Useful Information

  • After the treatment, mild redness may develop, which usually subsides within a few hours.
  • Pellevé is the only device suitable for rejuvenating and tightening the eyelids, since the size of the handpiece allows it to be applied to the area.
  • Autologous PRP mesotherapy further enhances Pellevé's action in strengthening and rejuvenating the face when applied in combination.
  • Treatment should be avoided during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in cases of autoimmune diseases.
  • Pellevé is FDA approved for the treatment of mild to moderate facial wrinkles.
